Why has no payment been taken yet?
If you have applied for the scheme, had your request approved, received your eCertifcate and exchanged it for your new bike and/or accessories package - you would be right to expect your salary deductions to have begun.
If this is not the case it would be wise to get in touch with your employer (likely either the HR or payroll team) to understand what's causing the delay and get confirmation of the likely start date.
In an ideal world, your salary deductions will start just after you collect your bike. However, they may start at any time after your application has been approved. Your HR and payroll team will ensure the correct number of salary deductions are made.
Please note 🚨
Cyclescheme is not in control of how and when salary deductions are applied to your pay. We provide employers with the details required to enable them to run the scheme and manage your salary deductions effectively - but it is the employer that actually applies the deductions and manages your pay.
For privacy reasons, Cyclescheme cannot engage with your employer to discuss when deductions have or have not been applied to employees salaries or to review how many deductions have been made in total.
As a result, we will always need to refer you to your employer to resolve queries and questions on this topic.
