How do I request a Certificate?

First of all, you need to decide if you want to get a bike from a local Retailer (in-store) or from a range of leading online Retailers (online). Either way they must be a participating retailer, you can view all participating retailers via our retailer finder.

🏪
In-store: Visit the retailer and choose the bike and/or accessories you want to get. The Retailer will provide you with a quote listing all of your selected equipment.
🚚
Online: Visit the website of your chosen retailer and select the items you want to get. When using an online retailer it's best to find their Cyclescheme page as this often explains their exact process.

Alternatively, if you already know what you want, or haven’t got time to visit a store now, you can simply nominate a value that can be redeemed at a retailer of your choice later on (this is called ' deciding later').

Ready to make your application?

Go to the Cyclescheme website and enter your employer name or code (if you need your employer code but you are unsure what an employer code is, please see the answer 'What is an employer code').

1
Now you are logged in and the website is personalised for you can choose to 'START APPLICATION'.
2
You will be asked to enter your details, your company details, and in the 'Package Details' section you'll be asked for the details of your package including a breakdown of the bike and accessory values. If you don't know exactly what you're going to get, then scroll down to the 'Choose your budget' section to simply type a figure in where it says 'Total Package Value'.
3

Do you know where you're planning to shop or have a quote? If so, it's important you nominate a retailer. You do this by simply searching for the retailer by name in the 'Choose a retailer' section. If you don't have a quote and you're keen to remain flexible, simply click 'I've not decided yet'.

4

The next step is to review the pre-contract and contract and submit your application. Then you are done!

5

Your employer will now review and (likely) approve the request. You will then be sent an email so that you can create login details for your MyCyclescheme account. Here you to track the progress of your Certificate as well as access additional offers and benefits.

6
As soon as your employer pays for the bike we will send you an eCertificate with a 'Redemption Code'. With these details you can collect or order your bike via your chosen retailer.

Please note 🚨
